Position Summary: John Boner Neighborhood Centers is seeking a TAP for a Promise Neighborhoods grant. Promise Neighborhoods is a federal discretionary grant program administered by the United States Department of Education and is designed to significantly improve the academic and developmental outcomes of children living in the most distressed communities of the United States. The Center was awarded a five-year $29.98M grant from the Department in September 2021. The grant period is from January 2022 through December 2026. Front Desk Customer Service Representative (Bilingual)

Position Summary: The CARES Frontline Services Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and activities of the CARES Team, the staff responsible for eligibility-based program applications. This position provides administrative support, acts as a staff trainer; and performs related duties as required. This position’s hours are 12:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday – Thursday and 8-5 on Friday.

Position Summary: The John Boner Neighborhood Center in partnership with Brookside Elementary, IPS 54 and Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School to increase educational outcomes for Near Eastside students. JBNC is seeking licensed Reading Interventionists who will work full time onsite at either Thomas Gregg Neighborhood School or Brookside Elementary to support students in grades Kindergarten – 6th Grade identified as at-risk in Reading.

Position Summary: The EERMD Director will advise and lead the development and implementation of the Eastside Economic Recovery & Mobility District (EERMD). The EERMD will promote existing comprehensive community development initiatives, such as the IndyEast Promise Zone and the 21st Century Talent Region and develop new comprehensive community development initiatives. The Director will oversee and manage the implementation of specific objectives in neighbor defined goal areas. Critical to the success of this position is the ability to engage the broadest coalition of various stakeholders.

Fitness Zone Front Desk Support

The “first impressions greeter” for the Boner Fitness and Learning Center is responsible for serving the needs of our Fitness Zone members including greeting, check-in and providing information about all programs in the facility.  This position assists the Director of Fitness and Wellness in promoting, selling and processing membership, opening and closing the building, supervision of the Fitness Zone and assisting staff and partners with implementation of programming.


Maintenance Technician

Transportation Service Monitor

Position Summary: The Transportation Service Monitor assists the JBNC driver in maintaining discipline while bus is in operation; maintain proper records and documentation; assist student loading, unloading and seating arrangements as required.

Part-Time Driver
Indianapolis, IN United States

Position Summary: The Driver position is responsible for safely transporting individuals and groups participating in John Boner Neighborhood Centers’ programs and activities, ensuring accurate data collection and entry, working with other drivers, community organizations, and JBNC staff to offer reliable, timely transportation services for all participants. This is a part-time position, at approximately 10-15 hours per week, including evening hours, Monday through Friday. Reports directly to the Transportation Coordinator at the Boner Fitness and Learning Center.
